Local Representatives
As Indicorps continues to grow, it is essential that the organization always maintains a personal touch in its efforts to engage civil society. Since Indicorps aims to replicate its efforts and expand to encourage participation from persons of Indian origin worldwide, we are always looking for people who might be interested in learning more about Indicorps to become a representative in their local area(s).
If you believe that our mission and work resonates with your own convictions, we would love to have you represent us in your area. A little time and just casual conversation about Indicorps with your community can help us recruit the most talented people for our service and leadership programs.
As a representative, you would be responsible for conducting information sessions, promoting programs, answering questions, assisting with organizational development, encouraging local civic responsibility, interviewing Indicorps candidates, and potentially becoming part of the Indicorps’ applicant screening committee.
Indicorps will provide local represenatives with publicity materials, and you will join a network of people with similar values and conviction around the world to generate ideas and share experiences. Together, this community of representatives helps us continue to reach out to new people, recruit the best and brightest, and contribute to the progress of India.
To be a representative, please email Anand Shah, who is coordinating the development of a global outreach team.
